- 1/4 tsp of vanilla extract
- 6-8 slices of bread

- Butter to spread on the pan

- In a bowl, take the milk and add in the eggs, cinnamon powder, vanilla extract and sugar. Beat it well with a fork.
- Heat a pan and spread some butter on it. Dip a slice of bread in the egg mixture to form a coating of it on all its sides and place it in the pan. Cook it on medium high heat.
- Flip the bread slice and let the other side cook.
- Remove it from the heat. Repeat the same for remaining slices of bread.
- Once done, stack them and dust it with some powdered sugar and top it with some fresh fruits or whipped cream and serve it along with a hot cup of coffee. You are sure to feel content and kick start your day with full energy.

- Do not over soak the bread in the mixture, else they will remain all soggy in the inside even if they appear to be done from outside.
- You could avoid cinnamon if you want. I personally feel it enriches the taste of the french toast and they smell heavenly too.
